http://feedsmanagement.com/blog/2009/10/11/kelkoo-change-commercial-terms-and-conditions-for-new-and-existing-merchants/

Kelkoo have announced that they will now have a new pricing structure and requirements following their status as an independant body.

"Following recent announcements in the press we are pleased to let you know that the acquisition of Kelkoo has been completed, and the company is now independently managed.

This is an exciting time for Kelkoo who in recent years has made significant progress in developing its key consumer audience and portfolio of clients as Europe’s leading comparison shopping engine.

As part of the extraction process from the previous owner, Kelkoo is harmonising commercial terms with merchants as part of the first stages of the company transformation"

They now offer 3 options to new or existing merchants:

GOLD PACKAGE

£588 per annum listing fee

Flexible payment terms – either Direct Debit or 14 days in arrears

Optional weekend and twice daily feed updates subject to category

Minimum monthly spend cap £500

Dedicated Account Management and Technical Support by Email and Telephone

BASIC PACKAGE

£118 per annum listing fee

Monthly payment by Direct Debit

Compulsory “Listed on Kelkoo” image on site with back link to Kelkoo Site(s)

Compulsory Kelkoo Sales Tracking and Reviews implementation within 4 weeks of merchant launch date on Kelkoo

Minimum Contract Term of three months plus 30 day notice period

Minimum monthly spend cap £750

Account Management and Technical Support by email only

All existing merchants will be contacted over the next few days and weeks and asked which package from the above that they want to accept.

Previously their were no clauses or listing fees when signing up to Kelkoo so it will be interesting to see how this new pricing structure appeals to Kelkoos future and existing merchants.

Kelkoo signs ad deal with Google

http://feedsmanagement.com/blog/2009/08/11/kelkoo-signs-ad-deal-with-google/

LONDON - Kelkoo, the European price comparison site, has signed an international advertising deal with Google.

The new deal will see sponsored links from Google displayed on product search results pages on Kelkoo's 10 existing sites across Europe. Sponsored links will also be displayed on any new international sites that Kelkoo launches in the future.

The deal will make Kelkoo the first shopping comparison site to list sponsored links from both Google and Yahoo!

Yahoo! sold off Kelkoo last year.

The deal will give Kelkoo customers more comprehensive search results, with the ability to view relevant content from Google and Yahoo! in addition to results from Kelkoo's own listings from more than 10,000 online retailers.

The agreement will also give more retailers, such as those who advertise with Google and who are not currently listed on Kelkoo, the ability to access Kelkoo users by appearing in Google's sponsored-links section.

Shopping.com launches new pricing programme

http://feedsmanagement.com/blog/2009/07/02/shoppingcom-launches-new-pricing-programme/

Shopping.com have launched a new tiered pricing programme, which rolled out on the 23rd June 2009.

They have reassessed their current fixed rate card model to now include a tiered pricing model based on the price of a merchants product.

Previously many merchants did not include low value products within their feed as the fixed cost per click for that category did not justify a return.

The tiered CPC rates now give merchants a better cost per click based on the products price and so merchants may find including lower priced products in the feeds could give them a return.

Although this is good from a fairer cost per click, Shopping.com have also increased the CPC rate for certain categories that have converted well over the last 6 months.
